About VETEAM

In 1986 I started off as buyer at an international company In hydraulic installations for trucks. Buying took my interest because both commerce and technology are addressed.

The purchase director organized the supply chain with great enthusiasm, however her method was quite harsh and that inspired me to be more cooperative to suppliers. I developed a vision were smart co-operation with the supply chain was key.

After working for automotive companies in several buyers positions, I became an entrepreneur in 1999 and my company VETEAM became specialist in supply chain innovation for industrial companies.

In order to find new, smart solutions I visited many factories in Europe, Asia and the USA such as car manufacturing plants (a.o. Toyota) and machine builders.

My company worked the past 15 years for 50 companies in the automotive, manufacturing, engineering works and high-tech sector. Characteristic is "organize differently" based on approach on a self-developed "pie of six" and innovative concepts like #sellyourpackage, #supplytuning, #smartsupplybase and #costdesign.

VETEAM today is a supply chain specialist who wants to make the Dutch industry stronger.
